The starting and stopping of SQL Apply is easiest achieved through Grid Control
however if Grid Control is not available... then you can achieve the same thing through DGMGRL DGMGRL> EDIT DATABASE 'DR_Sales' SET STATE='APPLY-ON' WITH APPLY INSTANCE="dr_sales2'; This can also be stopped and started through SQL on the Logical Standby database SQL> alter database stop logical standby apply; SQL> alter database start logical standby apply; |
